Elizabeth Ellis

PhD, Turku Brain and Mind Center, University of Turku

Dr Ellis is a post-doctoral researcher at Turku Brainlab and Deakin University's Cognitive Neuroscience Unit (Australia). Elizabeth received her PhD from Deakin University in Australia, relocating to Turku to join Turku Brainlab. Her current body of work aims to help us understand the links between brain lesions and their resultant symptom profiles (with a particular focus on movement disorders), providing evidence for the creation or refinement of therapeutic interventions for patients. With an interest in both neuroimaging and brain stimulation, you can often find Elizabeth in the TMS labs or, in her spare time, escaping into nature, travelling, and spending time with family and friends.
